I’m back with another pregnancy-related book review! I’m trying my best to educate myself about pregnancy, labor, and newborn care as much as I can before Baby Girl arrives, so I decided to read the rather hefty Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy, Second Edition by Myra J. Wick, M.D., Ph.D. In today’s review, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on this book and my opinion on whether or not it’s worth reading for soon-to-be parents!Read More »
It’s that time of the month! Time to introduce some of the books I plan to read in the month of May.
Truth be told, April was not a very good reading month for me. It wasn’t a very good blogging month for me either, as you can probably tell by my lack of posts over the last few weeks. I only finished one book from my April TBR, which means I only posted one Friday book review on my blog. Kind of disappointing, but I’m excited to start a new month. I’m feeling optimistic and newly energized to focus on my goals!
I don’t know if I’ll actually get to all of the books I’ve picked for May (the third trimester of pregnancy has been hectic!) but I’m going to try my best, as usual.Read More »
Earlier this week, I finished reading my first book of Quarter 2! Today, I am reviewing Cleopatra’s Dagger by Carole Lawrence, a historical fiction murder mystery. This is actually a brand new release, published on April 1st of this year!Read More »
Today, I’m going to share the books I plan to read in the month of April! Even though we’re nearly half way through the month and I’ve even already finished reading the first book on this list, I thought it would still be nice to set some concrete reading goals for the month and share them here. So let’s take a look at all of the books I’ve picked out for April!Read More »
Okay, I’m posting this review only slightly late this time! I’m nearly back to my desired posting schedule and routine. Anyways, today I’ll be reviewing Spark Joy: An Illustrated Master Class On the Art of Organizing and Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. This is the companion to her best-selling debut, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, which I have been a huge fan of for years now.Read More »
As you can see, my plan to post book reviews every Friday is not going exactly as I hoped. I’m still playing a bit of catch-up this week and dealing with life, but I’m hoping to be back to posting punctually by the end of this week! Today’s review is for the second installment of Jennifer L. Scott’s Madame Chic series, At Home With Madame Chic: Becoming a Connoisseur of Daily Life.Read More »
Another book review going up a bit late, but better late than never! Today I’ll be reviewing the first book in the Madame Chic series by Jennifer L. Scott, Lessons from Madame Chic: 20 Stylish Secrets I Learned While Living in Paris.Read More »
Today, let’s discuss how to declutter and organize books! This is the second decluttering category of the KonMari Method. In this post, I’ll walk you through the process of decluttering books, which is notoriously difficult! But once you conquer your books, you’ll be able to conquer the rest of the clutter in your home with ease.
I’m also working through the KonMari Method as I write this series, so be sure to read to the end to see how my book decluttering went!Read More »
I meant to post this review last Friday, but due to a family issue, had to postpone it until today. But since I’m actually reviewing three books at once, I think I can get away with it this time! Today, I’ll be reviewing all three graphic novels in the Tea Dragon series by K. O’Neill: The Tea Dragon Society, The Tea Dragon Festival, and The Tea Dragon Tapestry.Read More »
