Late last winter (2019), my boyfriend and I took a fun day trip to a little island called Daebudo. On the way we stopped at a cafe, a look out point, and after going on a hike, we stopped at a delicious kalguksu restaurant before heading home. I figure we all need a little break from COVID-19 news, so today let’s take a little mental escape! Read on to see some photos from this leisurely, beautiful day!Read More »
It’s been about a year since I traveled to Hong Kong alone and I recently realized I never posted my photos from that trip. I’m not a talented photographer but I’m really happy with a lot of the photos I took, and I have so many good memories attached to each one. Since I didn’t visit a new country during my last two vacations, I think it would be nice to relive that trip and share my photos here. I’ll be telling my story through captions along the way!
Last summer I took an amazing trip to Taiwan, and even blogged about it daily! Until about half way through when things got hectic and I got lazy. I ate, saw, and experienced so many amazing things that I didn’t get to share with you! But, as the saying goes, it’s better late than never!
Sorry I didn’t post last night but I got home late and had to pack. But I’ve got 3 and a half hours left of this 5 hour train ride to Taipei, so I figured I’d have plenty of time to write. 🙂
MONKEYS!!!! SO MANY MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!
So basically today I hiked a big ol’ mountain and saw a bunch of monkeys up close. It was exhausting, terrifying, and amazing.
Today my friend and I explored Pier 2, a really amazing art park!
IM SO EXHAUSTED but I am trying to be better at this blogging thing so I want to write this before I fall alseep. Lol. Today was my first day in Taiwan, my first day in Kaohsiung, and my first time seeing my old college roommate in 4 years.
In less than 24 hours I will be traveling to Taiwan, which means I really ought to be packing and prepping right now, but instead I’m doing everything I can to avoid doing what I have to. I’m excited for the trip, but part of me is even more excited for what will happen after the trip.
Today I spent the day with my friend in Incheon’s Chinatown and Fairytale Village! The were a lot of interesting sights and delicious food.
Yesterday was a really major day for me! I stopped by the Korean consulate and picked up my visa, so now it’s finally official–this whole “moving to Korea” thing is REALLY HAPPENING!!!
